Our Mission
My wife and I are both Marines. We met while on active duty in the early 80’s and have been together ever since. From 1987 through 2002, we hosted other Marines at our home for various events and holidays and enjoyed bringing a part of our family to others—including things we cooked ourselves. Our mission with Gunny’s Grub is to bring a little of that “sharing” and “supporting” feeling to others through the sale of our homemade and jarred products – pickles, jalapeños, apple butter, and the like. We don’t expect this venture to support us through retirement. We just hope to provide good quality products for folks to enjoy themselves or to share with others.
